
José Antonio finished tenth in Thailand, Grand Prix which was highlighted by the high temperatures reached on the circuit of Si Racha.
No time for rest of the World Motocross moved from Qatar to Thailand to dispute the second round of the season. This was the second year that the World Motocross check out this track.
José arrived with great expectations because last year got here his first podium of the season. However, things did not go as expected. On Saturday José not found very comfortable with the circuit and this was reflected in the fifteenth position in the qualifying race.

This had happened a few times but as always when qualifying Leg José made a great start that quickly placed in positions of head. The improvement only lasted two curves because it took a touch with Jordi Tixier that led him to ground, wasting all the work done at the start. Now from the last position José began the comeback that eventually led to the seventeenth position for Sunday's racing.

Already in the race day Joseph arrived to the circuit with the goal of improve their performance on Saturday, but when you have not your day, even if one tries sometimes the reward is not found. This time nor outlets accompanied him, and the two races were a lot of work races having to regain many positions. The end result was after finishing tenth thirteen and ten on the races.
After this result José ranks eighth place in the championship although there are still sixteen races to go.
Now the World Motocross takes a two week break to travel to Brazil, where the next March 30 the third round of the season will be disputed.
Jose Antonio Butron: "It was a very hard weekend. I have not been one hundred per cent and that is reflected in the final result. You have to think positive because this is just beginning and much remains ahead. Now we go to Brazil which is a circuit where I obtained my best results. I hope this year will be repeated and you can return to be among the best. "
