After the Motocross GP of Spain, which took place two weeks ago in Talavera de la Reina, the World Motocross moved to Britain to contest the eighth race of the season. Joseph reached the circuit Matterley Basin, a favorite circuit almost every World Championship riders, wanting to convey the good feelings you had during the second leg in Spain.

Saturday scheduled times were modified due to the rain that fell on both Friday and early Saturday. The new schedules were free and the workouts were timed together with what pilots would have only one session before qualifying manga. In this race Joseph made an excellent start and got placed second behind Herlings. Joseph managed to roll almost all the manga in this position, but lacking the final 10 minutes for a small mistake cost him some positions. However, the sixth place was more than good races ahead of Sunday.
In the first race José again made a great start getting the holeshot but was again Jeffrey Herlings who placed first before finishing the first round. In the early laps José managed to follow the pace set by the current world champion but slowly lowering his times were lagging behind and went on to finish tenth. In the second race the start was not so good but this time the limit was much better than in the original manga. Finally a seventh that allowed him placed eighth in the championship when the season's World Motocross is about to cross the Ecuador thereof.

Jose Antonio Butron: "Today has been a race with some fluctuations. In the first race I had a good start and managed to follow Herlings and pulled as much as I could during the first ten minutes. I think this happened to me a little bill in the second part of the manga and I had to really slow down and lost several positions. The second was a little backwards because I did not have a good start and was in the final minutes when I felt better and was able to roll over eaten. In France started the second half of the season and I mean give my maximum to meet the goal of finishing in the top 5 of the championship. "
