
After a week of break the World Motocross returned to action to contest the tenth round of the season at the legendary circuit of Maggiora in Italy. A total of 35,000 spectators gathered to watch closely the best drivers in the world.
José came to Italy eager to repeat the success achieved last season where he managed to finish in second place. On Saturday the track was in good condition and José managed to roll at all times among the top ten. In the qualifying manga achieved a good start finished in ninth place which assured a good spot on the grid for Sunday sleeves.

Throughout Sunday morning it was raining which ultimately made the circuit was found in perfect condition for racing. Joseph was very motivated in order to obtain a good result but everything changed radically in the second corner of the race. Joseph was given an excellent start that put him second but over the first corner and try to dodge Jordi Tixier in the double jump, landed off the track and could not avoid ending up against the fences of the public. Despite the dramatic drop José managed to regain the race from the last position but, finally finished sixteenth.
In the second race José not made a good start and despite being full beam struggling with a good group of riders finally was twelfth.
After traveling to Italy José Belgium where this next week will begin training with Harry Everts to retry the way of achieving good results and return to the podium in his last season in MX2.
The next round of the World motocross will be next weekend in Teutschenthal, Germany.
Jose Antonio Butron: "It was a difficult weekend. In the first race I had a sharp drop in the output circuit to get out and was lucky not to hurt me. In the second race did not go out as well and things were not as I expected. Next week I start working with Harry Everts and I can assure you from here to the end of the season will give up to me to get good results. "
